Indulgent Carbonara Pasta
The classic Italian recipe reimagined with pantry staples. Creamy pasta with ham and cheese for a rich and satisfying dish.

Ingredients
- 250 g Pasta
- 150 g Ham
- 80 g Parmesan
- 50 g Gruyère
- 40 g Butter
- 2 piece Egg
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions.
Step 2
Dice the ham. Finely grate the parmesan and gruyère.
Step 3
In a bowl, whisk the eggs and add most of the grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Drain the pasta, reserving a glass of cooking water.
Step 5
In the hot pot (removed from heat), melt the butter. Add ham and pasta, then mix.
Step 6
Pour the egg mixture in while stirring constantly. If too thick, add a little cooking water. Serve with remaining cheese.
