Creamy Carbonara Pasta
A gourmet take on authentic Italian carbonara: creamy pasta, crispy bacon, egg, cheese, and a splash of sour cream for extra indulgence. A timeless classic.
Ingredients
- 250 g Pasta
- 150 g Ham
- 80 g Gruyère
- 2 piece Egg
- 100 ml Sour cream
- 20 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the pasta in a pot of salted water according to package instructions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cut the ham into small cubes.
Step 3
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the sour cream, salt, and pepper.
Step 4
Sauté the ham in a skillet with butter until lightly crispy.
Step 5
Drain the pasta, reserving a glass of cooking water.
Step 6
Add the hot pasta to the skillet with the ham and remove from heat.
Step 7
Pour the egg and cream mixture over, stir quickly and add a little cooking water if needed.
Step 8
Sprinkle with grated Gruyère and serve immediately.
