Gourmet Carbonara Pasta
A true French twist on carbonara: pasta, eggs, ham and cheese for a rich and flavorful dish in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients
- 200 g Pasta
- 2 piece Eggs
- 100 g Ham
- 80 g Grated Parmesan
- 1.5 L Water
- 20 g Butter
- 100 ml Crème fraîche
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to instructions.
Step 2
Dice or cut the ham into small batons.
Step 3
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs with the crème fraîche, grated Parmesan, salt and pepper.
Step 4
Drain the pasta, reserving a glass of cooking water.
Step 5
Return the pasta to the pot off the heat, add the butter and ham.
Step 6
Pour in the egg-cream-cheese mixture, stir quickly while adding a little cooking water for a creamy texture.
Step 7
Serve immediately with fresh pepper.
