Quick Carbonara Pasta with Ham
A simplified yet indulgent take on carbonara with ham, perfect for a weeknight dinner. Rich and flavorful in less than 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 250 g Pasta
- 100 g Ham
- 60 g Parmesan
- 2 piece Egg
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- à volonté pinch Pepper
- à volonté pinch Salt
Instructions
Step 1
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cut the ham into small dice.
Step 3
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs with grated Parmesan and plenty of pepper.
Step 4
Sauté the ham in a pan with olive oil for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Drain the pasta (reserving some cooking water) and add it to the pan with the ham.
Step 6
Remove from heat and pour in the egg-Parmesan mixture while stirring constantly to create a creamy sauce. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.
Step 7
Season to taste and serve immediately.
