Carbonara-Style Pasta with Ham and Broccoli
A revisited carbonara featuring ham and broccoli for added flavor and lighter texture. Rich and comforting, ready in 25 minutes.

Ingredients
- 250 g Pasta
- 150 g Ham
- 200 g Broccoli
- 2 piece Eggs
- 80 g Gruyère
- 20 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the pasta in a pot of salted water according to package directions. Add the broccoli florets 5 minutes before the end.
Step 2
Meanwhile, whisk the eggs in a bowl. Dice the ham and grate the Gruyère.
Step 3
Drain the pasta and broccoli, reserving a glass of cooking water.
Step 4
In a hot pan with butter, add the ham. Pour in the pasta and broccoli.
Step 5
Remove from heat, pour in the beaten eggs and Gruyère, mix quickly while adding a bit of cooking water to create a creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
