Pasta Bolognese with Chicken and Broccoli
A generous homemade Bolognese sauce with ground chicken, tomato, and broccoli—hearty yet healthy, served over pasta.
Ingredients
- 400 g Pasta
- 400 g Chicken
- 250 g Broccoli
- 400 g Crushed canned tomatoes
- 1 medium Onion
- 2 clove Garlic
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Herbes de Provence
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 200 ml Water
Instructions
Step 1
Finely chop the onion and garlic.
Step 2
Cut the chicken into small pieces or mince it.
Step 3
Heat the olive oil in a pot and sauté the onion and garlic for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes, stirring until it turns white.
Step 5
Add the crushed tomatoes, water, and Herbes de Provence, then simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 6
Meanwhile, cook the pasta in boiling salted water for 10-12 minutes.
Step 7
Add the broccoli cut into small florets to the sauce 5 minutes before the end of cooking.
Step 8
Season the sauce with salt and pepper, drain the pasta, and serve with the Bolognese.
