Lentil Bolognese Pasta

Ingredients
- 400 g Pasta
- 200 g Red lentils
- 2 piece Carrot
- 1 stalk Celery
- 400 g Canned tomato
- 500 ml Water
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 clove Garlic
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Finely chop the carrots, celery and garlic.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the garlic, carrot and celery for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add the lentils, canned tomato, water and oregano. Bring to a boil.
Step 4
Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes until the lentils start to break down.
Step 5
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package directions in a large pot of salted water.
Step 6
Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Drain the pasta and serve with the sauce.
