Nigerian Peanut Butter Stew

Ingredients
- 500 g Ground beef
- 150 g Natural peanut butter
- 400 g Canned tomatoes
- 2 piece Onions
- 3 clove Garlic
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- 1 tsp Ground ginger
- 400 ml Water
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 300 g White rice
Instructions
Step 1
Mince the onions and garlic.
Step 2
Heat the oil and sauté the onions and garlic for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Add the ground beef and brown for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add the tomatoes, chili powder, and ginger. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Dissolve the peanut butter in hot water and pour into the pot.
Step 6
Simmer for 15 minutes and season to taste.
Step 7
Serve over hot white rice.
