Indulgent French Toast with Apples and Caramel
A rich dessert or breakfast: bread slices dipped in an egg and milk mixture, pan-fried until golden, and topped with caramelized apples in brown sugar.

Ingredients
- 4 slice Bread
- 2 piece Apple
- 2 piece Egg
- 150 ml Milk
- 50 g Butter
- 3 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 dash Vanilla
- 1 pinch Cinnamon
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and slice the apples thinly. Melt 20g of butter in a skillet, add the apples and brown sugar. Let caramelize for 6-8 minutes. Set aside.
Step 2
Whisk the eggs with the milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a bowl. Quickly dip the bread slices on both sides.
Step 3
Melt 30g of butter in a skillet. Brown the bread slices for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy and golden.
Step 4
Plate the French toast and generously top with the caramelized apples.
