Baked Tomato and Cheese Bread Slices
Slices of bread topped with fresh tomato, onion, and melted cheese, baked until golden. A simple and tasty dish, perfect as a side or light meal.

Ingredients
- 400 g Bread
- 150 g Grated Gruyère
- 500 g Tomatoes
- 100 g Red onion
- 2 clove Garlic
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Step 2
Crush the tomatoes and chop the onion and garlic. Mix together in a bowl with olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Step 3
Slice the bread and arrange on a baking sheet.
Step 4
Spread the tomato mixture evenly on each slice of bread.
Step 5
Generously cover with grated Gruyère and bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is golden.
