Shrimp Pad Thai
Thailand's national dish: stir-fried rice noodles with shrimp, egg, bean sprouts and peanuts, perfectly balanced between sweet, sour and spicy.

Ingredients
- 200 g Rice noodles
- 250 g Shrimp
- 2 piece Eggs
- 100 g Bean sprouts
- 4 piece Green onions
- 50 g Crushed peanuts
- 3 tbsp Fish sauce
- 2 tbsp Tamarind sauce
- 1 tbsp Cane sugar
- 1 piece Fresh red chili
- 3 clove Garlic
- 2 tbsp Peanut oil
- 1 piece Fresh lime
Instructions
Step 1
Soak the rice noodles in warm water for 10 minutes until tender, then drain.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a wok, stir-fry garlic and chili for 1 minute.
Step 3
Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink.
Step 4
Push the shrimp to the side, pour in the beaten eggs and scramble.
Step 5
Add noodles, fish sauce, tamarind sauce and sugar. Stir vigorously for 2 minutes.
Step 6
Add bean sprouts and green onions. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Garnish with peanuts and fresh lime.
