Gourmet Omelet with Carrots, Ham, and Gruyère
A beautiful, creamy omelet filled with sautéed carrots, crispy ham, and melting Gruyère cheese. Perfect for dinner served with a side salad.

Ingredients
- 6 piece Eggs
- 2 piece Carrots
- 100 g Ham
- 80 g Gruyère
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 40 g Butter
- 1 tsp Herbes de Provence
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and grate the carrots. Cut them into small sticks and sauté in a pan with butter for 5 minutes until tender.
Step 2
Cut the ham into small cubes and grate the Gruyère cheese.
Step 3
Whisk the eggs with salt, pepper, and herbs. Melt 20g of butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
Step 4
Pour in the beaten eggs, let them set for 2-3 minutes, then distribute the carrots, ham, and Gruyère over one half of the omelet.
Step 5
Cook for another 2 minutes until the top is still slightly creamy, fold the omelet in half, and serve.
