Potato and Cheese Omelette
A generous omelette filled with sautéed potatoes and melted Gruyère. Quick, filling, and delicious.

Ingredients
- 250 g Potatoes
- 80 g Gruyère
- 4 piece Eggs
- 25 g Butter
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes (about 5mm).
Step 2
Sauté the potato cubes in a pan with 15g of butter for 8-10 minutes, stirring regularly, until golden. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Break the eggs into a bowl and beat lightly with salt and pepper.
Step 4
In the same pan with 10g of fresh butter, pour in the beaten eggs. Let cook for 30 seconds, then add the potatoes and grated Gruyère. Fold the omelette in half when the center is still slightly runny.
