Omelet with Carrots and Cheese
A fluffy omelet filled with pan-sautéed carrots and melted Gruyère cheese, perfect for a quick and satisfying dinner.

Ingredients
- 4 pieces Eggs
- 1.5 pieces Carrots
- 60 g Gruyère
- 1.5 tbsp Butter
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and finely grate the carrots.
Step 2
Melt 0.5 tbsp of butter in a skillet, add the carrots and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Remove the carrots from the skillet and set aside. Beat the eggs with salt and pepper in a bowl.
Step 4
Add 1 tbsp of butter to the hot skillet, pour in the beaten eggs and let cook for 2 minutes without stirring.
Step 5
When the omelet is halfway set, add the cooked carrots and grated Gruyère to one half, fold in half and serve immediately.
