Gruyère Omelette with Homemade Apple-Pear Compote
A protein-rich omelette topped with melting Gruyère cheese, served alongside a quick homemade compote.

Ingredients
- 4 piece Egg
- 80 g Gruyère
- 1 piece Apple
- 1 piece Pear
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 20 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and dice the apple and pear into small cubes.
Step 2
In a saucepan, cook the fruit with 2 tbsp of water and sugar for 5-6 minutes until soft. Mash with a fork.
Step 3
Beat the eggs with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Melt butter in a pan and pour in the beaten eggs.
Step 5
Once the eggs start to set, add the grated Gruyère and fold the omelette.
Step 6
Serve the hot omelette with the compote on the side.
