Shrimp Okonomiyaki
A thick Japanese pancake with shrimp, cabbage, and special sauce, topped with spicy mayo and toasted seaweed flakes.

Ingredients
- 150 g Wheat flour
- 2 piece Egg
- 300 g White cabbage
- 200 g Peeled shrimp
- 150 ml Water
- 4 tbsp Okonomiyaki sauce
- 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Sriracha sauce
- 3 tbsp Sunflower oil
- 15 g Bonito flakes
Instructions
Step 1
Slice the white cabbage very finely.
Step 2
Mix the flour with water and eggs to form a smooth batter.
Step 3
Gently fold the cabbage and shrimp into the batter.
Step 4
Heat the oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Step 5
Pour the batter to form two thick pancakes, cook for 5-6 minutes until golden.
Step 6
Carefully flip and cook for 4-5 minutes on the other side.
Step 7
Mix the mayonnaise with sriracha and brush over the okonomiyaki, then drizzle with the okonomiyaki sauce.
Step 8
Sprinkle with bonito flakes and serve hot.
