Cuban Mofongo
A fluffy mash of green plantains crushed with garlic, olive oil, and broth, shaped into soft balls. A classic Cuban side dish or light main course.

Ingredients
- 5 piece green plantains
- 8 clove garlic
- 60 ml olive oil
- 200 ml vegetable broth
- 5 g salt
- 2 g pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and slice the plantains into rounds.
Step 2
Boil the plantains for 10 minutes until tender.
Step 3
Sauté the minced garlic in oil for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Drain the plantains.
Step 5
Mash the plantains with the garlic and oil.
Step 6
Gradually add the broth and shape into balls.
