Turkish-Style Köfte with Beet Salad
Spiced Turkish beef meatballs with herbs and pine nuts, served warm with tangy beet salad and yogurt.

Ingredients
- 400 g Ground beef
- 1 piece Onion
- 15 g Fresh mint
- 30 g Pine nuts
- 1 pinch Red chili
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 piece Egg
- 50 g Breadcrumbs
- 300 g Cooked beets
- 2 tbsp White vinegar
- 150 g Plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 pinch Salt and pepper
- 1 clove Garlic
Instructions
Step 1
Mix beef, diced onion, mint, pine nuts, chili, cumin, egg, and breadcrumbs together.
Step 2
Season and form into 12 uniform meatballs.
Step 3
Brown the köfte in olive oil for 8 minutes, turning regularly.
Step 4
Prepare the salad by cutting cooked beets into small cubes and mix with white vinegar.
Step 5
Serve warm köfte with beet salad and yogurt on the side.
