Lebanese Lamb Kebab
Lamb skewers marinated in Middle Eastern spices, served with pita bread, tomatoes, onions, and tangy tahini-lemon sauce.
Ingredients
- 800 g Lamb fillet
- 150 g Plain yogurt
- 2 piece Lemon
- 4 clove Garlic
- 10 g Paprika
- 5 g Ground coriander
- 5 g Cumin
- 20 g Fresh parsley
- 2 piece Onions
- 2 piece Tomatoes
- 4 piece Pita bread
- 100 g Tahini
- 30 ml Olive oil
- 5 g Salt
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the lamb into 3 cm cubes and mix with yogurt and lemon juice.
Step 2
Add to the marinade: crushed garlic, paprika, coriander, cumin, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Step 3
Marinate for at least 15-20 minutes (or 10 minutes in the freezer).
Step 4
Thread the marinated lamb onto skewers, alternating with onions.
Step 5
Grill in a pan or on a barbecue for 12-15 minutes, turning regularly.
Step 6
Prepare tahini sauce: mix tahini, lemon juice, water, salt, and garlic.
Step 7
Warm the pitas and fill with kebab, tomatoes, and onions.
Step 8
Generously drizzle with tahini sauce and serve.
