Gratin of Potatoes and Lentils
A comforting baked dish made with potatoes, lentils, and spinach. French comfort food at its finest.

Ingredients
- 800 g Potatoes
- 150 g Green lentils
- 200 g Spinach
- 30 g Butter
- 500 ml Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the green lentils in salted water for 20 minutes, then drain.
Step 2
Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
Step 3
Butter a baking dish and layer the potato slices.
Step 4
Add the cooked lentils and spinach between the potato layers.
Step 5
Season each layer with salt and pepper, and dot with butter.
Step 6
Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes until golden.
