Potato and Ham Gratin
A comforting and easy gratin, perfect for using up leftover ham. Creamy, flavorful, and ready in less than 40 minutes.

Ingredients
- 700 g Potatoes
- 150 g Ham
- 250 ml Milk
- 30 g Butter
- 2 tbsp Flour
- à to taste Salt
- à to taste Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and thinly slice the potatoes.
Step 2
Cut the ham into small dice.
Step 3
Melt the butter, add the flour and mix for 1 minute to form a roux.
Step 4
Gradually pour in the milk while whisking to create a smooth béchamel sauce.
Step 5
Spread half the potatoes in the greased dish, add the ham, then the remaining potatoes.
Step 6
Pour the béchamel over everything, season with salt and pepper.
Step 7
Bake in the oven at 200°C for 25-30 minutes until golden.
