Potato and Ham Gratin
A classic French gratin with ham and cheese, perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients
- 800 g Potatoes
- 200 g Ham
- 100 g Cheese
- 30 g Butter
- 300 ml Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin, even slices.
Step 2
Dice the ham and grate the cheese.
Step 3
Butter a baking dish. Layer the potato slices with ham in between. Season each layer with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Pour water over the potatoes. Top with grated cheese and small pieces of butter.
Step 5
Bake for 35-40 minutes until the gratin is golden and potatoes are tender.
