Potato and Ham Gratin

Ingredients
- 500 g potatoes
- 150 g ham
- 250 ml milk
- 20 g butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Peel and slice potatoes thinly.
Step 3
Cut ham into cubes.
Step 4
Make a roux: melt butter and stir in flour until combined.
Step 5
Gradually pour in milk, whisking constantly until smooth.
Step 6
Layer potatoes and ham in a buttered baking dish.
Step 7
Pour sauce over the gratin, season with salt and pepper.
Step 8
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
