Potato and Ham Gratin
A classic French gratin with creamy potatoes, savory ham and melted Gruyère cheese baked to golden perfection. True comfort food.

Ingredients
- 600 g potatoes
- 150 g ham
- 120 g Gruyère
- 40 g butter
- 300 ml water
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Peel and slice the potatoes into thin slices.
Step 3
Dice the ham into small pieces.
Step 4
In a baking dish, layer potatoes, ham and grated Gruyère alternately.
Step 5
Pour water over everything, dot with butter, season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden.
