Potato and Carrot Gratin
A comforting and simple gratin with layers of potatoes and carrots topped with melted Gruyère. Perfect as a vegetarian main course.

Ingredients
- 600 g Potatoes
- 300 g Carrots
- 150 g Shredded Gruyère
- 30 g Butter
- 200 ml Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and finely slice the potatoes and carrots.
Step 2
Butter a baking dish and arrange the vegetables in alternating layers.
Step 3
Pour in the water, season with salt and pepper. Top with shredded Gruyère.
Step 4
Bake at 200°C for 35-40 minutes until golden.
