Potato and Carrot Gratin
A classic and indulgent gratin with potatoes and carrots baked in the oven with butter. Simple and delicious as a side dish or main course.

Ingredients
- 600 g Potatoes
- 3 piece Carrots
- 30 g Butter
- 250 ml Water
- à volonté g Salt
- à volonté g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
Step 2
Peel and slice the potatoes and carrots into thin rounds.
Step 3
Butter a baking dish and arrange the potatoes and carrots alternately.
Step 4
Pour the water, season generously with salt and pepper. Add butter knobs on top.
Step 5
Bake for 35 minutes until the vegetables are tender and golden.
