Potato and Carrot Gratin

Ingredients
- 600 g Potatoes
- 300 g Carrots
- 80 g Gruyère
- 30 g Butter
- 300 ml Water
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
Peel and thinly slice the potatoes and carrots.
Step 3
Butter a baking dish and arrange alternating layers of potatoes and carrots.
Step 4
Pour the salted and peppered water over the gratin.
Step 5
Grate the Gruyère and sprinkle over the top.
Step 6
Bake for 35 minutes until the vegetables are tender and the cheese is golden.
