Potato and Carrot Gratin
A comforting gratin layering tender potatoes and carrots sautéed until golden, then baked with butter until crispy on top.

Ingredients
- 600 g Potatoes
- 3 piece Carrots
- 30 g Butter
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and slice potatoes and carrots into thin slices.
Step 2
Heat oil in a skillet and sauté potatoes and carrots over medium heat for 8 minutes.
Step 3
Season with salt and pepper, then transfer to a baking dish.
Step 4
Dot the top with small pieces of butter.
Step 5
Bake at 200°C for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
