Potato and Carrot Gratin
A comforting gratin with layers of tender potatoes and carrots. Easy and delicious for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
- 800 g Potatoes
- 400 g Carrots
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 250 ml Water
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190°C.
Step 2
Peel and thinly slice the potatoes and carrots.
Step 3
Layer the vegetables alternately in an oiled baking dish, seasoning each layer with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Pour the water over the top and drizzle with olive oil.
Step 5
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 35 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the foil and broil for an additional 5 minutes if desired.
