Potato and Carrot Gratin
A simple and indulgent gratin of potatoes and carrots, baked with butter and seasonings. The ultimate comfort food.

Ingredients
- 600 g Potatoes
- 300 g Carrots
- 40 g Butter
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 200 ml Water
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Peel and cut potatoes into thin slices.
Step 3
Peel and cut carrots into slices.
Step 4
Layer potatoes and carrots alternately in a baking dish.
Step 5
Season with salt and pepper, dot with small pieces of butter.
Step 6
Pour water into the dish and bake for 35 minutes until golden.
Step 7
Serve directly from the oven.
