Potato and Carrot Gratin

Ingredients
- 600 g Potatoes
- 300 g Carrots
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 250 ml Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Step 2
Peel and slice potatoes and carrots into thin rounds.
Step 3
Butter a gratin dish.
Step 4
Layer the vegetables alternately, seasoning each layer with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Pour water over the vegetables and dot with butter.
Step 6
Bake for 35 minutes until golden and tender.
