Potato and Carrot Gratin
A savory and very comforting French gratin made with potatoes, carrots and Gruyère cheese, baked to perfection.

Ingredients
- 600 g Potatoes
- 300 g Carrots
- 100 g Gruyère
- 2 tbsp Butter
- à volonté Salt
- à volonté Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Peel and thinly slice the potatoes and carrots.
Step 2
Layer the mixed potatoes and carrots in a buttered baking dish.
Step 3
Repeat the layers and finish with a layer of potatoes. Season at each step.
Step 4
Top with grated Gruyère and bake for 30 minutes until the gratin is golden and crispy.
