Baked Potato and Carrot Gratin
A comforting and simple gratin of potatoes and carrots baked with cheese. Perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients
- 800 g Potato
- 300 g Carrot
- 150 g Gruyere, shredded
- 30 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 200 ml Water
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and thinly slice the potatoes and carrots.
Step 2
Butter a baking dish and arrange the vegetables in alternating layers.
Step 3
Pour the water over the vegetables, season with salt and pepper. Cover with aluminum foil.
Step 4
Bake at 200°C for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded gruyere on top and bake for 5 more minutes until golden.
