Potato and Spinach Gratin
A comforting Italian-style gratin enriched with spinach and cheese. Perfect for a complete meal.

Ingredients
- 700 g Potatoes
- 200 g Fresh spinach
- 200 ml Crème fraîche
- 100 g Grated cheese (Emmental or Gruyère)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Pepper
- 1 pinch Nutmeg
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and cut the potatoes into thin, even slices.
Step 2
Boil the potatoes for 10 minutes until partially cooked.
Step 3
Sauté the fresh spinach in a pan with olive oil for 3 minutes.
Step 4
Mix the crème fraîche with grated cheese, season with salt, pepper, and add a pinch of nutmeg.
Step 5
Assemble in a baking dish: a layer of potatoes, then spinach, then cream sauce. Repeat the layers.
Step 6
Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes until golden.
