Potato Gratin with Ham and Gruyère
A classic French comfort dish: tender potatoes layered with ham and cheese, baked until perfectly golden.

Ingredients
- 800 g Potatoes
- 150 g Ham
- 100 g Grated Gruyère
- 30 g Butter
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
- 250 ml Water
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
Step 3
Cut the ham into small cubes.
Step 4
Butter a gratin dish. Layer potatoes, then ham and a little cheese. Repeat until the top.
Step 5
Gently pour in the water, season with salt and pepper. Top with grated Gruyère.
Step 6
Bake for 25 minutes until golden and potatoes are completely cooked.
