Potato and Ham Gratin
A comforting homemade French gratin with potatoes, ham, and milk. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
- 600 g Potatoes
- 150 g Ham
- 250 ml Milk
- 30 g Butter
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Peel and thinly slice the potatoes.
Step 3
Cut the ham into small pieces.
Step 4
Prepare a béchamel sauce: melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour and stir. Gradually pour in the milk while whisking. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
In a gratin dish, alternate layers of potatoes, ham, and béchamel sauce. Finish with a layer of béchamel.
Step 6
Bake for 35 minutes until the gratin is golden and the potatoes are tender.
