Gratin Dauphinois

Ingredients
- 800 g potatoes
- 150 g grated Gruyère
- 30 g butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
Step 3
Butter a baking dish. Layer the potatoes, seasoning with salt and pepper between each layer.
Step 4
Top with grated Gruyère and dot with butter.
Step 5
Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
