Pear, Gruyère, and Ham Gratin
A delicious gratin combining the sweetness of pears, melted cheese, and crispy ham. Perfect as a light main course.

Ingredients
- 4 piece Pear
- 150 g Gruyère
- 150 g Ham
- 250 ml Milk
- 20 g Flour
- 30 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C. Peel and halve the pears, then remove the cores.
Step 2
Make a béchamel sauce: melt 30g of butter, add 20g of flour, stir for 1 minute, then gradually pour in the milk while whisking. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Dice the ham and grate the Gruyère.
Step 4
Arrange the pear halves in a buttered baking dish. Top with ham and cheese. Pour the béchamel sauce over.
Step 5
Bake for 20 minutes until the top is golden.
