Easy Penne Béchamel Gratin
A comforting gratin with penne coated in creamy béchamel sauce and baked until golden. A complete and satisfying family meal.

Ingredients
- 250 g Penne
- 400 ml Milk
- 40 g Butter
- 30 g Flour
- 80 g Grated cheese
- 5 g Salt
- 3 g Black pepper
- 1 pinch Nutmeg
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Bring salted water to a boil and cook the penne 2 minutes under the recommended time.
Step 2
Drain the penne and transfer to a baking dish.
Step 3
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and sprinkle the flour.
Step 4
Stir constantly and gradually pour in the milk while whisking to avoid lumps.
Step 5
Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring, until thickened. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Step 6
Pour the béchamel over the penne and fold gently.
Step 7
Sprinkle the grated cheese on top and bake for 15 minutes until golden.
