Penne Gratin with Cheese and Herbs
A comforting penne gratin with butter and a simple herb blend. A vegetarian baked pasta dish that everyone loves, ready in 25 minutes.

Ingredients
- 250 g Penne
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 500 ml Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Step 2
Bring salted water to a boil in a pot.
Step 3
Add the penne and cook 2 minutes less than the package directions (it will continue cooking in the oven).
Step 4
Drain the penne, reserving some cooking water.
Step 5
Transfer the penne to a baking dish, pour melted butter over it, and mix well with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the top is lightly golden.
