Simple Pasta Gratin
A comforting gratin with a beautiful golden crust. The pasta melts into a light béchamel sauce, generously topped with cheese.

Ingredients
- 250 g Pasta
- 150 g Shredded Gruyère
- 30 g Butter
- 30 g Flour
- 500 ml Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the pasta in salted water according to package directions, then drain.
Step 2
Melt the butter over low heat in a pot.
Step 3
Add the flour and mix well to form a roux.
Step 4
Gradually pour in the water while stirring to avoid lumps.
Step 5
Add 100g of Gruyère to the sauce, let simmer for 2 minutes.
Step 6
Pour the pasta into a baking dish, add the sauce, and mix.
Step 7
Sprinkle the remaining 50g of Gruyère on top, bake at 180°C for 10 minutes.
