Ham and Parmesan Pasta Bake
A rich French pasta bake with ham, creamy sauce, and melted cheese gratinéed in the oven.

Ingredients
- 300 g Pasta
- 150 g Ham
- 80 g Parmesan
- 80 g Gruyère
- 40 g Butter
- 30 g Flour
- 400 ml Milk
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 1 pinch Nutmeg
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the pasta al dente, drain, and set aside.
Step 2
Make a béchamel: melt the butter, add the flour, cook for 2 minutes, then gradually pour in the hot milk.
Step 3
Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir in 40g of parmesan and the gruyère.
Step 4
Dice the ham and add it to the sauce.
Step 5
Mix the pasta with the sauce and pour into a baking dish.
Step 6
Sprinkle with the remaining parmesan and bake for 15 minutes at 200°C.
