Pasta Gratin with Carrots and Ham
A comforting French gratin with pasta, cooked carrots, ham, and melted Gruyère cheese. Perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
- 350 g Penne
- 300 g Carrots
- 200 g Ham
- 150 g Gruyère shavings
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and dice the carrots. Cook them in a pot of boiling salted water for 8 minutes.
Step 2
Bring water to a boil and cook the penne according to package instructions.
Step 3
Dice the ham into small pieces.
Step 4
Butter a baking dish. Mix the drained pasta, carrots, ham, and half the Gruyère. Pour into the dish.
Step 5
Sprinkle with the remaining Gruyère and bake at 200°C for 15 minutes until golden.
