Smoked Mackerel Pasta Gratin
A rich and original gratin combining pasta, smoked mackerel, and creamy sauce topped with a golden Gruyère crust. A complete and indulgent dish.
Ingredients
- 200 g Spaghetti
- 150 g Canned mackerel
- 150 ml Crème fraîche
- 80 g Gruyère
- 1 piece Eggs
- 100 g Carrots
- 50 g Onions
- 15 ml Olive oil
- 10 g Mustard
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water according to package instructions.
Step 2
Finely mince the carrots and onions.
Step 3
Sauté the carrots and onions in olive oil in a skillet for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Drain the mackerel and flake it, then add to the skillet.
Step 5
Mix the crème fraîche with the beaten egg and mustard in a bowl.
Step 6
Drain the spaghetti and combine with the mackerel-vegetable mixture.
Step 7
Pour the cream-egg mixture over the pasta and mix well.
Step 8
Transfer to a gratin dish and sprinkle grated Gruyère on top.
Step 9
Bake for 15 minutes until the top is golden and crispy.
Step 10
Let rest for 2 minutes and serve hot.
