Bread and Gruyère Gratin
A simple and comforting gratin, perfect for using up stale bread. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside.

Ingredients
- 300 g Bread
- 100 g Gruyère
- 30 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 150 ml Water
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Step 2
Cut the bread into cubes and arrange them in an ovenproof dish.
Step 3
Grate the Gruyère and sprinkle it over the bread cubes.
Step 4
Pour the water over everything, add small pieces of butter, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Bake for 20 minutes until the gratin is golden and crispy.
