Farfalle Gratin with Cheese and Tomato
Farfalle pasta tossed with homemade tomato sauce, grated cheese, and baked until golden. A comforting and indulgent dish perfect for the whole family.

Ingredients
- 300 g Farfalle
- 400 g Canned tomatoes
- 100 g Grated cheese
- 20 g Butter
- 2 cl Olive oil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 2 clove Garlic
- 1 piece Onion
- 2 L Water
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
Step 2
Finely mince the onion and garlic.
Step 3
Cook the farfalle in boiling salted water according to package directions, then drain.
Step 4
In a saucepan, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Add the canned tomatoes, salt, pepper, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Combine the cooked pasta with the tomato sauce and pour into a buttered baking dish.
Step 7
Generously sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Step 8
Bake for 15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
