Cauliflower and Ham Gratin
A classic French comfort dish: cauliflower smothered in a buttery cheese sauce with ham pieces. Generously gratinéed in the oven.

Ingredients
- 1 piece Cauliflower
- 150 g Ham
- 100 g Cheese
- 80 g Gruyère
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 500 ml Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Cut the cauliflower into small florets and cook for 10 minutes in salted boiling water.
Step 3
Drain the cauliflower and arrange in a baking dish.
Step 4
Cut the ham into small dice and distribute over the cauliflower.
Step 5
Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the grated cheese and mix over low heat.
Step 6
Pour the cheese sauce over the cauliflower and ham.
Step 7
Sprinkle with grated Gruyère and bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
