Cauliflower and Broccoli Gratin with Gruyère
A classic French gratin with whatever vegetables you have on hand, homemade béchamel sauce and grated Gruyère. Comforting and very simple.

Ingredients
- 300 g Cauliflower
- 300 g Broccoli
- 100 g Gruyère
- 30 g Butter
- 30 g Flour
- 400 ml Milk
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Cut the cauliflower and broccoli into small florets.
Step 3
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the vegetables for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Prepare the béchamel: melt the butter, add the flour, mix well.
Step 5
Gradually pour in the milk while whisking to avoid lumps.
Step 6
Drain the vegetables and place them in a gratin dish.
Step 7
Pour the béchamel over the vegetables, sprinkle with grated Gruyère.
Step 8
Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
