Classic French Cauliflower and Broccoli Gratin
A classic and comforting gratin with a blend of cauliflower and broccoli baked with a creamy sauce made from milk and butter.

Ingredients
- 400 g Cauliflower
- 400 g Broccoli
- 30 g Butter
- 30 g Flour
- 400 ml Milk
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
- 10 ml Oil

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Cut the cauliflower and broccoli into florets and boil for 8 minutes in salted water.
Step 3
Make a béchamel sauce: melt the butter, add the flour, then whisk in the hot milk, stirring constantly.
Step 4
Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Place the drained vegetables in an oiled baking dish and pour the sauce over them.
Step 6
Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
