French Cauliflower and Broccoli Gratin
A classic French gratin combining cauliflower and broccoli with homemade béchamel sauce and a crispy golden topping.

Ingredients
- 400 g Cauliflower
- 400 g Broccoli
- 40 g Butter
- 30 g Flour
- 400 ml Coconut milk
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
- 1 l Water
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the cauliflower and broccoli into small florets and boil them in salted water for 8 minutes. Drain.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour, and stir for 2 minutes to make a roux.
Step 3
Gradually pour in the coconut milk while whisking to prevent lumps. Let thicken for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Season the sauce with salt and pepper, then add the cooked vegetables. Transfer to a baking dish.
Step 5
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25 minutes until golden.
